Folks, I have some great news about upcoming events you are not going to want
to miss!
Building
Dedication and Special Services
Dates: Wednesday and
Thursday Evening, August 18th and 19th.
Main Speaker: Bishop Tony Miller from Oklahoma City, Ok
Special Guest: Dr. Garnett and Mrs. Francis Pike
Bishop
Tony Miller is a Pastor, Bishop of Destiny World Outreach Ministry, author, and
international speaker of whom we are privileged to have. His schedule was full
for the rest of this year but he has "made room" for us for this special
occasion. (That's why it won't be on a weekend.)
Many
of you already know Bishop Miller from several years ago and know what a
powerfully anointed man of God he is. Jill and I attend a pastor's conference
with him every year in the Fall and always return with much deeper prophetic
insight into the Word and direction for CLI.
His
ministry these two days will not simply be"preaching services." They will be
life encouraging and life changing for you individually, as well as us
corporately as a Church.
Dr.
Pike and his wife Francis are an incredible couple as well. Dr. Pike has served
in various positions through his years in the IPHC. He recently retired as the
Dean of Southwestern Graduate School in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Pike is ALWAYS a
blast with her bubbly personality and incredible prophetic gifting. They will
be a wonderful addition to these two nights!

Bridges
Kiddie
Bridges Preschool, Daycare and After School program will be opening for
business on Monday, August 23! If you
are interested in part-time employment or in placing your child in the day care
please contact our Assistant Director, Leigh Anne Atkinson at 343-3331.
Open
House for prospective parents and children will be Friday, August 13th from 10
AM until 8 PM. Please let friends, neighbors, and co-workers know of this new Christ-centered
environment.
VBS
Finally,
don't forget this Thursday PM is our VBS picnic with all the blow-up children's
games and activities. All are invited for a great time beginning at 6:30 PM.
Likewise, our VBS "Blow-Out" Service is this coming Sunday at 10 AM. You won't
want to miss the joy and excitement of these children as they lead in worship
and word.
